These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Better Bookshelf mobile application (the "App") provided by ITIME MARKETING INC ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading and using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your mobile device for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, sell, or modify the App without our written permission.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair any third-party service (including Google Books API, ISBNdb, Readwise, or Google Drive)
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with several third-party services, including Google Books API, ISBNdb, Readwise, and Google Drive. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of these third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of these services.

4. User Data

All data you create or store in the App — including book metadata, ratings, reviews, tags, and lending records — is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or other circumstances. 5. In-App Purchases

The App may offer one-time in-app purchases to unlock premium features. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store, and are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective platform. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the platform's refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing and feature availability at any time.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that book metadata fetched from third-party services will be accurate or complete.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ITIME MARKETING INC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
